Thank you for donating your time to help raise money for the Hermiston Public Library! We want this experience to be exciting, a little competitive, and most importantly – FUN!
To help us reach our fundraising goal, here are some tips to get you started and spread the word:
1. Get Excited and Share!
Let your enthusiasm shine! Tell everyone what you’re doing and why it’s important. The more excited you are, the more others will want to get involved. This is a fundraising event and we are looking to raise $50,000!
Post the fundraising link far and wide on your social media: https://givebutter.com/KGmSRz Whether it's Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, or even TikTok, spread the word and encourage others to donate!

3. Send the Link to Everyone
Don’t be shy! Email, text, or message your friends, family, coworkers, and even complete strangers with the link and details about the fundraiser. You’re helping a great cause – and a little reminder never hurt!
4. Highlight the Cause
Let everyone know where their donations are going! We’re raising money for some exciting additions to our newly remodeled library, including:
o A 4 ft by 5 ft LiteZilla Giant LiteBrite to make promote creativity for children of all ages.
o A 62-inch sculpture titled New Heights of Knowledge – One More Chapter to inspire visitors of all ages.
Fundraising Goal: LiteZilla Giant Lite Brite
Older generations remember designing images on the original lap-sized LiteBright. Patrons of all ages will enjoy designing and playing with this larger version! At 4 feet by 5 feet, the LiteZilla Giant Lite Brite is easy house for all ages and abilities with their giant, colorful pegs.
Fundraising Goal: Bronze Sculpture by Artist Gary Lee Price
Help us purchase a new sculpture for the entrance to the remodeled library. New Heights of Knowledge- One More Chapter by Artist Gary Lee Price will welcome all readers to read one more chapter. At 5 feet tall the sculpture will stand out and compliment the new entry design for the library.
